Mission walkthrough
-
Meet the courier inside the mall
Travel to North Point Mall and follow the marker to the meeting point upstairs. Bring a firearm and leave usable transport outside. The exchange turns hostile, so note the stairs and exits on the way in.
-
Follow the courier when the deal breaks down
As soon as the objective changes, concentrate on the courier rather than every attacker. He heads out of the mall and can escape on a motorcycle. A clear shot before he reaches the street is easier than a long pursuit through traffic.
-
Stop him and collect the chips
If he gets away, use nearby transport and pursue his radar blip. On a motorcycle you can fire forward with a suitable drive-by weapon. Once he is down, stop and collect the dropped package; destroying or stopping his bike alone is not enough.
-
Return to the yacht
Follow the destination marker back to Cortez. Use a direct road route and avoid adding further wanted stars. At the marina, reach the delivery marker with the guidance chips to finish the mission.
Key point
Do not remain in the mall clearing enemies after the courier flees. This mission is won by recovering his package, not by winning a prolonged firefight.
